TO THE
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF
GENERAL CONFERENCE
CORPORATION OF
SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS

To: The Recorder of Deeds, D.C.
Washington, D.C.

Pursuant to the provisions of the District of Columbia Non-profit Corporation Act, the undersigned adopts the following Articles of Amendment to its Articles of Incorporation:

Article VII

Distribution of Assets on Dissolution: The property of this corporation is irrevocably dedicated to the objectives for which this corporation was formed, to wit: religious purposes, and on dissolution none of its assets shall inure to the benefit of any individuals or corporation for profit, but shall be distributed to a fund or foundation or religious association or corporation whose property is dedicated to religious purposes and exempting under the Internal Revenue Code exempting associations and corporations formed for religious purposes, first preference being given to a Seventh-day Adventist non-profit organization.

What did she mean?

Tell Sister White's critics that the Old City has not been rebuilt, that it is now a part of the New Jerusalem. Tell them she said to go to Old Jerusalem was not the "present work...under the...third angel..." (E.W., p. 75). Tell them we are in the time of the fifth angel, Who is crying "Go ye out" (Matthew 25) of the land of the two-horned beast, back to the land of Abraham.
