What's New?
That everyone who thirsteth for the truth may obtain it, these publications are, as a Christian service, provided without charge. They levy but one exaction: the soul's obligation to itself to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good. The only strings attached to this free proffer are the golden strands of Eden and the crimson cords of Calvary - the ties that bind.

There is no such country as Babylon existing today and therefore no visible King of Babylon; but yet the Bible teaches there is to be a call to come out of her. In order then to know when and from where to make the call, it would be necessary for the Lord to reveal it to us.

The Scriptures say Christ's followers are branches. Some bear fruit and some do not. Those who do not, His Father will destroy. The branches who bring forth fruit, He will purge that they bring forth more fruit. (John 15) Brother and Sister, what kind of branches are you? Are you bearing fruits unto holiness and winning souls for His everlasting Kingdom?

Since there is some misunderstanding as to why Sister Benjamin Roden is in Israel, let me say that she is not there on just a family visit, as some have thought. But rather, since some of our people in Israel were not interested in the place where the Lord desired to place His name and since it is impossible for me to be there at this time, it became necessary that a representative be sent who could help work out some of the many problems...

The Mighty Angel of Revelation 18:1 has returned and is NOW pleading with you, dear Sabbathkeeper, to return to Israel (Isa. 2:1-4; Hos. 3:5). But how can this be so when V.T.H. wrote upon the two sticks, and published the writing in Tract #8?

The session began with a very fine Spirit and those who came appeared to be of one mind in seeking the Lord's leadings. Some of the delegates were an excellent influence for good in promoting the Spirit of investigation of truth. When the enemy of souls began to work to overthrow the unity of thought, those who desired unity in the Lord worked to counteract division. It even appeared at times that Branch Davidians and Rod Davidians could unite in one great effort to save our Brethren in Laodicea and thereby bring about the restoration of God's righteous Kingdom (Joel 3:16-21). This unity Satan was on hand to thwart if at all possible.

Since Paul in 1 Cor. 15 states that when Jesus comes in the clouds of heaven some of the living will be translated without seeing death, logic compels us to see there must be another law that gives us life, one which must be added to the 3rd angel's message whereby the living can be judged righteous. Therefore, such a law would necessarily be a message for the Judgment of the Living.

The call of Ezekiel to the prophetic office is one of the most interesting experiences of the ancient seers, and the revelation of what he saw by the river Chebar is perhaps of greater importance to heaven and earth at this time than is any other vision on sacred record, because in a remarkable way it reveals That Which unites Heaven with Earth, even as the Dardanelles links two important seas. Thus this study of Ezekiel's vision which brings to light earth's being visited by the Majesty of the Universe, may be aptly termed, "The Dardanelles of the Bible."

In the study of this chart we would first call your attention to the fact that the Reformation in Luther's time came in progressive stages. There was a period of revival connected with it in which God chose Luther and prepared him to act his part in bringing a message of truth to the people of that day. As the Reformation was plant-like (2 TG 46:22), it had to have its periods of sowing, growth and harvest.

In the parable of Matt. 25 we find that the church (C.O.L. 406) is asleep. "God wills that a voice shall be heard arousing his people to action." 5T 709. The Bible says "He that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame." Prov. 10:5. The message the church has been giving to the world since 1844 is the Judgement of the Dead, but the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy say the church is asleep. Since the closing work by our Lord in the courts above is to judge the living, and the church is unaware of this fact, and since judgment begins at the house of God, it is easy to see that it is the message of the Judgment of the Living (Rev 18:1),which will awaken the church.

Most, if not all, of God's people seem to forget that the very last work for His church is done by His Spirit and not by might and power. On the other hand, the work for the world will be accomplished by the Lord's mighty power, for He says He will rule all nations with a rod of iron (Rev. 12:5). In the Bible, rulers (leaders) are symbolized by a tree (see Dan. 4). They prosper as long as God's Spirit is directing them, but then men's hearts get lifted up as a result of their accomplishments, God no longer blesses their efforts or directs their steps. The result is inevitable failure.

The signs of the times reveal to us that the end is near. Fire, flood, earthquake, and calamity on every side speaks the time. The crisis hour is at hand: prophecy is fast fulfilling (wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation). Imperative, then, is the unremitting need to search the Scriptures 'as for hidden treasure,' and to beseech God for the guidance of His Spirit in order rightly to understand this all important subject. In vain, though, any search for truth unless the motive be to learn and to do the will of God."
